Do we have balance?

Do we have balance?, originally uploaded by roadkill awareness.

This gopher knows the importance of balance even in death. He looks like he was skateboarding and "dialed in." Unfortunately he was not in the moment and lost his life. Without balance we fall down and can even be run over like our dead friend above.

Who Nose ????

                                                                      Who Nose ????

Does anybody know anything? I believe we know so little that to say we know something well could acknowledge that we are simply an idiot. I have noticed among successful people you will see their nose rise when somebody acknowledges they know something well. The nose sigh signifies a smell and a realization that this person knows little since we always have something to learn.

Nose what your talking  about when trying to advance an idea and or venture among the successful because the successful nose what it takes to achieve your destination and to keep it. Failure to nose what your talking about will kill your chances as it did this possum. BEST TO YOU !

Does LIFE STINK sometimes????

                                                       Does LIFE STINK sometimes????

We normally shower or bathe daily to clean ourselves from some of life's distractions thrown at us. I prefer bathing in a stream or showering in the rain to clean away my daily fertilizer of success that may be thrown at me at any time. Ever feel like this skunk looks???

First of all I was surprised to see that some dog had to drop what he dropped on our now deceased friend.
I have learned something important from this kill. Life does not stink unless we choose to smell and or associate with the stench. Life is awesome and sometimes things will be dropped upon us to see how we deal with it.

A skunk only smells when something or someone tries to disrupt his path. The skunk will spray a smell to warn the distraction that what your doing in my path smells and I will not have anything to do with it. We too  can learn from our friend the skunk. If anybody or anything gets in or life path to disrupt are flow we simply need to keep them away.

If we continue to allow disruptions by certain drama infested people in our lives  our paths will be difficult to hike. We will attain the stench that we allowed in our path and could end up dead as this skunk never learning to rid ourselves of the smell. Life only stinks if we welcome the stench. Smell the wild flowers and enjoy everyday!

Dying for SPRING! I FEEL RUFFLED!

Dying for SPRING! I FEEL RUFFLED!

I saw my first robin a few days ago. The symbol for spring was ruffled and dead on the side of the road dying for spring. This bird must of traveled over 1000 miles to make it back to the Great Lake State of Michigan. A symbol our  frozen souls will thaw soon from a brisk harsh winter. Sometimes welcomes can be harsh, too harsh.

Ever feel ruffled? I'm sure we all do at times and it's time for us to deruffle the ruffles and not allow them to permanently crease our lives. Sometimes we need to be pressed like a fine suit, it simply makes us feel better to be pressed against things and or someone we love. Our robin friend was pressed with the force of a moving plastic and steel mode of transportation that robbed  the robin of life.

Keep flying  high as flying low could be a factor in ending your existence.

Sometimes we bite more than we can chew.

Sometimes we bite more than we can chew.

It was an overcast day with nice warm temperatures over 60 degrees in the outskirts of Kalamazoo, Michigan. This raccoon suffered an incident causing a busted jaw and internal injuries. It seems he was trying to bite the tire of the vehicle that took his life. Life is what we want, what we take in and what we desire and wish. Sometimes though we bite more than we can chew and may cause our own injuries from attempting to digest more than we are capable of with time we are allotted and or tools that we may or may not possess.

Chew slowly and digest accordingly. You will enjoy each moment better and may not end up roadkill like our raccoon friend. Best to you and may you KICK TAIL in all your adventures.

Black and White ?

A Little Squirrel y

A cold brisk day today in the great lake state. The weather can make us a little squirrel y.  Some may say you read to much into things. Hm mm, I'd say if your educating yourself and can read your farther ahead of the one taking things for granted. I believe our squirrel friend took for granted his path across the road or simply went squirrel y and over reacted to the situation thus ending his existence.

Things are not always black and white. The human race is not conscious of it's actions as it too takes things for granted. We drive on our roadways not even aware of all the pollution that leaches into the ground every time it rains from the materials our roadways are constructed. We assume everything is OK and the integrity of the huge company's are like our own. After all we would not pour toxic chemicals and oils into our neighborhoods. Yet, our road ways do exactly that!

A Little Squirrel y is simply an understatement to the enormous lack of information and/or lack of wanting to know the truth. How soon before all of civilization lays dead on the side of roads? Is it not black and white?

Ohh deer!

OHH DEER!
Some days simply are a mess. You may feel torn apart and lost a grasp on what really matters. Ohh Deer is a good external visual of how we can feel if we allow these feelings to rule. Why not look at the good side of things and sense a purpose of the moment.

The deer kill above clearly did some damage to the external transportation shell of the drivers automobile. This result has put someone to work on the repairs.  The leftovers of the deer that are splattered all over the road will feed many smaller animals including are winged friends. Many insects will finish the job.

Perhaps also it should teach us to follow 1 basic rule we learned when we first started to drive.......LOOK AHEAD in all directions. Our sight is fixated on things in front of us only. Widen your sights in all directions and your life will be fuller and more enjoyable.

Experience more life and maybe even preserve wild life. Sitting in front of a television, hm mm if you looked to the sides you will realize "I have a family" wow they are alive and more valuable than the box with images and sounds in front of me. Maybe our deer above could still be alive?

Awareness Concerns......

Less than 10 people were in attendance at this roadkill awareness forum link below.
Change is near. A new approach is needed to make people aware and making people aware is 1 of my main priorities. You will witness the adventure on ways I will bring roadkill awareness to the mind front of the masses.

Snowed Inn.

I'm currently in Michigan the winter wonderland of the Midwest. Cold brisk weather with occasional moments of sunshine. Roadkill is minimal during the winter months compared to the active warm spring and summer when more animals are actively exploring territory for food and mating.

I'm currently hanging with a cute clown girl and her Argentinean male human blanket. She shot this picture of this young rabbit I have titled Snowed Inn. Time can be slowed and even frozen due to our indecision or lack of enjoying the present moment we are living now.

Our rabbit will soon be eaten by other animals and we to can be devoured by our lack of movement. Being stationary will cause our minds and bodies to eventually deteriorate. Stay alert and scan the roads ahead of you to help avoid and keep our beautiful wildlife alive..

Ressurrection of Roadkill Awareness.

Roadkill Awareness.com was launched in the year 2000. 10 years have passed from the early website. I have hit many bumps, pot holes and obstacles that have been slow to remove out of my way. I have felt like a piece of roadkill with my brains and guts splattered over roads and freeways. My obstacles were myself.
My lack of focus and my ridiculous allowing of energy vampires (negative words from our duminized society) to imprint my brain.

I have since revitalized my brain with new fertile soil which will harvest endless rich vibrant produce  for everyone to enjoy. I Love animals and people too, I simply dislike some of the things people do especially to animals. Many of us have no care or consideration when driving our car for other forms of life. All life has a purpose and all life is important and plays a roll in making our world a GREAT place.

Food must be used and replenished in a sensible and common sense way. Does common sense even exist any more? It's rare anyone even stops after running over an animal. I do stop and I stop for most all the animals in my sights laying rotting as decaying matter on the side of the road. I document the kill with photos many that I will post here with a caption of many of my past and present feelings.

Join and support my cause and come along for a ride across the country. My purpose is to make people aware of the over 1 million animals that are killed daily on the roadways of the USA alone each day. I will show you ways to minimize roadkill and keep you alert. Many of my images may seem gross. I asked my son who was 6 at the time what he thought about watching me take pictures of roadkill. He said: "they are just dead animals dad" and said he would be okay with it.

I will be hula hooping across the country along with other stunts to help promote roadkill awareness and gather donations for the purpose of expanding the awareness. Your help in any way will be greatly appreciated.
